The fuse you indicate is for exhaust valve and the location you show it going to is nothing but a spare location. look at your diagram in the fuse box cover or your owners manual.
You are correct in everything you state. And I forget not everyone likes a throaty exhaust sound. If you like the sound when you step on it a little (when the exhaust valve opens) then you might try moving the fuse as that will leave the valves open all the time. IMO, it makes the car sound like it should. However your tastes and mine may be different. The original comment was meant "tongue in cheek".

No, he said the exhaust valve fuse is in the wrong location, it's not.
He understood exactly what I was saying. Sorry for the confusion. I did actually move mine from the 42 to the spare so that circuit would not work anymore. No engine codes, no problems, just a little louder and more open exhaust. It was the best 60 second modification I have ever made and the least expensive thing I have ever done to a Vette!

I just received mine and will tackle the project this weekend, when it cools off here (109 today). I did a test on the camera to make sure it worked. I just hooked it up to my Jetta's battery. It worked fine, but two questions:
1. How do you get the image to reverse itself?
2. How did you snake the wires from the grill to the engine compartment.
I'm thinking of just mounting the camera on a flat spot under the bar using 3M High Performance Tape

Reason: copy correction
What do you mean by "...remove a trace inside..."?
Here is a picture of a trace (well a couple of them) on a circuit board. He just scraped one of the lines so it no longer made a connection. I'll take an actual picture when I take mine apart.
No way to unscrew back of the camera. You can unscrew the lens bezel, but it only holds the camera mounting bracket. That is useful for adjust the Lens to straight in viewing.
I have emailed the manufacturer to see how they say to flip the image.
And by the way when I tested my camera it didn't have the Red Grid Lines.

Was the image reversed or is it correct? I just received another one in the mail today and it seems it is a slightly different camera and I can't seem to unscrew this one either, I guess they ship what ever they have in stock, I'm going to try to get it apart tomorrow.

As I said it appears to be a little different camera, I was able to get back off but I do not recommend it, my original just had a dab of hot glue holding it together and was easy to work with. the new one has been sealed with black rtv sealant I don't see any comment on it that says mirror. and I also broke the wires in the process.
Due to the potential issues with this sealed camera (I don't mind the guidelines but I do not want the view reversed), I ordered a different one from Amazon. You can make all the adjustments outside the camera with by clicking one button.

I should have it tomorrow. Even with the cost for the additional camera, it is still a great deal compared to the other bundles out there.
The question is...will it work with the other camera's WiFi box? If it does it would be great. Although for me I don't know that a reverse image is so bad. After all a curb is the same on the left as it is on the right.
I'm going to hold up on my install until l here back from you. Between all of us We Will do what Chevrolet should have from the beginning.
