By the way Elmer, you were just a 7 hour drive away from me, couldn't you have taken the long way back home to Florida to come visit the Patman?

If it's a bad switch on the brake pedal those are usually pretty easy to change.

Had that happen in my car a couple times.
First result was almost taking out a pedestrian in front of Pizza Port, going 30 mph. Right front wheel went into "impending lockup." (SURPRISE!)
Drove slowly to the dealership where the brakes had a mind of their own. Holding the wheel with both hands and fighting to keep the car straight, while going 30 mph. Crazy.
Dealer extended the wire in the telescoping column. Didn't have another problem until I was on a mountain road and then "Service Stability System" came up again. Right front wheel impending lock up, going around a left turn, drove off the mountainside...
Car with a mind of it's own? No thanks.

Done with GM until they get their **** together.
