I have a 2015 Denali with the 6.2 as my daily driver. Has the same thing happen yesterday! I called the dealer and made an appointment, and a couple hours later it went out and after about 200 miles of driving today, never came back on!!
Sometimes I wonder about these warnings. Last Feb. I got my monthly OnStar email report and it showed everything in the Engine/Drivetrain section with a red "X", including "Four Wheel Drive System" and "Hybrid Technology System." The car drove fine, never threw a code, and never showed a warning on the dash. I didn't check with the dealer, as my code reader showed no stored codes and the car ran flawlessly. The next month and those thereafter showed no warnings, so I guess the hybrid and 4WD systems weren't malfunctioning after all.

IMO it's usually a problem with the ABS (at least was for me on another car)
Stabilitrak is GM's trade name for Electronic Stability Control, which in all cars is done by the ABS/Brake Control module. The main sensor inputs to that unit are the Wheel Speed sensors. Inertial data comes from the OCM/RCM (Airbag Or Restraints module) and Steering Angle comes from a dedicated column sensor (Corvette is like this) or the EPS ( Electric Steering).
From a wiring perspective typical issues are caused by wheel speed grounds being bad, otherwise you have bad or damaged sensors or a bad Angle Sensor. You can know which based on the combination of codes, you will have an Airbag light if you have bad inertial data, and if the angle goes out you'll lose advanced steering features (like Lane Keeping, not on Corvette obviously), or a steering light. Ergo, no steering light and no airbag light, check wheel speed sensors. Typically if you lose two of those your speedo also fails (vehicle speed is calculated off the wheel speeds, very few cars still have a sensor on the transmission output shaft or TOS).

Had this 'Service satbilitrak" message happen a couple times the past few months.
OnStar says my related DTC is C0161 brake position sensor. Had this happen before and dealership recalibrated sensor, but now it's back a few hundred miles later. Going in again and asking for new sensor at a minimum. 3 months left on warranty.

THat's where my Stabilitrak & ABS diagnostic showed up to - the monthly report. Dealer read no codes on the service drive, nothing in his printout. He's sending back to Service today - their diagnostic is more inclusive, so he says.
True but in the 70s you couldn't get a car with 460hp that also got over 35 MPG on the highway. Plus those cars in the 70s couldn't handle or stop anywhere close to the modern cars. I'll take the occasional electronic hiccup in order to enjoy all the things a C7 offers over those cars.
