with shopping around for pricing on a warranty. As with any warranty/insurance type of purchase, it is a gamble as to whether you will use it during the time it is in effect. But with all the high tech gizmos and electronics on the C7, it most likely wouldn't take much to recoup a good portion of the cost of the warranty once the car is past the 3 yr/36K period.
Ultimately you just need to determine whether you want the peace of mind the coverage offers or hope that nothing serious goes wrong.

Whether you will use the warranty or not makes no difference. If you plan on keeping the car forever, then your choice to buy it or not.
However, if you plan on selling the car after 3 or 5 years (depending on the year of your car), how are you going to justify a large purchase price to a buyer without any warranty after the drivetrain warranty expires?

I did use the Pat Ryan contact here on the forums for a much better price, but the extended warranty is a win/win. For the cost of one mid priced repair, the major systems are covered, including mag ride shocks. If you sell privately, it's a big advantage to sell with years and miles left on the warranty with a car that has all the electronics that the Vette has.
If you live in Florida....Ken cannot sell you the plan. The Florida legislature once again ripped off it's residents by passing some stupid law that prohibits someone like Ken to sell the factory plans in this state.
Having said that...Insurance is what it is. You don't need it TILL YOU NEED IT. If you plan on keeping your C7 for a long time....I would get it.
Has anyone determined where the best deal can be had in Florida?

According to Ken's posts on the forum, he can sell GMEPP (but not GMPP) in Florida. I don't live there, so I didn't verify, but it is worth the phone all/email. He has stated that he can sell at his price to any state....
