I did something called AIR 80 on the windshield, you dont even know it's on the windshield and the HUD is fine

Just be aware that different states have different laws re what you can tint and how much. In California, one may not tint the windshield and side windows must transmit at least 70% of light.

need to have windshield tint strip trim down like 1/4 inch, it's blocking my built in cam 3/4 of the way. they wont just cut it over the glass right? maybve got some technique that will avoid cut marks on the windshield?

If the inside top of the windshield is tinted there is no reason why any tint shop can't cut away an opening for the camera. They can do it without any cut marks. Tint shops are specialists at what they install.

awesome thanks a lot for the helpful reply!

I am thinking either just cut the bottom of the strip 1/4 inch or so, or trim a semi circle in front of the PDR. will see what they think.
