How high is up? How long is a piece of string. Ask five people, get six answers. Most folks probably change oil too often and I am probably one. Dry sump cars get an oil change at 500 miles. I change my oil at 5,000 mile intervals after that because it is easy to keep up with.

The manual has all the answers for the questions that I have needed to look for. Sometimes a bit obscure but there.
It is a lot easier to just ask on the forum and glean info from others knowledge. Nice to know that the forum can answer darn near anything you ask about a C7... or who to vote for...

On both my C6 cars I would follow the recommended oil life message and when it got to 50% its time to get a service.
I actually go to 50% on all my vehicles. Oil is the blood of an engine and its not that expensive.
