I actually liked the black stripes on the silver car, they weren't bad! The orange ones have to go.
It would be hard to get it in enough quantity, but I use Heptane when I can find it. It deactivates adhesives, like a Super Goo Gone in a way. I saw them demo it by sticking duct tape to toilet paper. They sprayed it with the Heptane, pulled them apart. Pretty amazing. But I only have it in small bottles and it's hard to find, though you can get it for $25 on Amazon I see!
I never had strips but the ones here - black on silver mainly looked good - I think it looked better with the strips - but not silver person
I am thinking of putting strips on my new Crystal Red - would like to see some pictures
I have light gray inside - so do I put black strips or light gray strips
I would never peel a stripe without using heat and or GooGone or 3M adhesive remover ..,heat it up , go slow and follow with the remover to clean it up.
from what I know, the above is the correct way to go. go very slowly, patience rewards. just go a bit easy with the 3M Adhesive Remover afterwards--it is pretty strong.
I think the stripe kits look great on the wider Z06 models. Especially Blade Silver on the darker colors like Black, Shark Gray, Long Beach Red, Night Race Blue, and even Laguna Blue.
