Factory Alignment Query
Since I had heard horror stories of factory alignment woes, and my 2008 had destroyed a set of tires before I knew I had a problem,
I had my 2016 Z51 checked yesterday.
Dealer was satisfied with the settings and made no changes. The allowed specs are REALLY wide!! I would have liked front camber settings closer to zero. Car is a convertible and not tracked.
Any comments appreciated.
All specs are +/- 0.6 unless noted.
FRONT
Caster L 7.8 vs Spec 7.4
Caster R 7.9 vs Spec 7.4
Camber L -0.5 vs Spec -0.2
Camber R -0.4 vs Spec -0.5
Total Toe .25 vs Spec 0.1 +/- 0.2
REAR
Camber L -0.6 vs Spec -0.5
Camber R -0.7 vs Spec -0.5
Total Toe 0.0 vs Spec of 0.0 +/- 0.2
What do you think?
