Not heel marks as I wear sneakers with white soles. Also, you can see the mark tracks the curve of opening the door. I did wipe the weatherstripping on the bottom of the door but it is still showing up.
I probably need to get the covers.
The large mark does not match the track of the opening/closing door. Not even close. See post #4.
I put tape on the sill and held a marker to the bottom of the door and closed it. The marker tracks the weatherstripping path across the sill.

If you were smearing your weatherstripping it would happen every time you open/close the door and you'd see more marking than that. Also the door would have to be pretty hard to open/close if it was dragging that hard.
100% caused by shoe/heel marks guaranteed. I bought Expel to cover mine because I had the same thing happen. Also I learned to watch my feet going in/out of the car.
