My 69 has Firestone Redlines, think they would look pretty cool on my C7. Bobby Alloway has been doing the redlines on some of his corvette builds the last few years....Cool garage btw Magredrod ....

Here's some of Alloways,

Looks good.........I think the tire paint would be more durable (curb rash) and easier to touchup.

Looks great, only way black wheels work for me...that little bit of contrast makes the look.

Enjoy...

I really like the look! What size lettering did you pick? What font? Did you order all in 19" or 20 tire size? just wondering since z51 is offset tire sizing and you have to order a minimum of 4 decals.

I'm thinking Michelin in white and C7-Z51 in Red, thoughts?

Using the letter size guide on their website I went with 1" letters. You could go up to 1.25" max on stock size tires but I suggest nothing bigger than 1". Used the same size letter for both the 19" & 20" tires. The rear tire sidewall isn't as flat as you know so the inner lip does create a little curve in the letter but isn't bad at all.

The red letters would compliment well with your red GS stripes.

Just make sure you acetone the areas on your tires until your cloth or rag is clean after wiping the surface and you're good to go. As mentioned earlier, it's good to do 2 letters at a time and bond for 30 seconds with good pressure then move onto the next 2 letters. This keeps the spacing perfect and there's no guess work with the spacing.

This is one of those things that look good when first installed, but I wonder how hard they are to keep white and what they will look like after a year or so.

Also, I am not sure it really needs lettering on both sides of the tire. It might look better with just Michelin on one place.

Looks Great! After you get used to seeing them all the time you'll never want to go back. When I put the track day Sport Cup 2's on she looks naked without the white letters.

Yours looks Great, did that to my 396 SS in "69" but it wouldn't have the same effect on mine now.

I think it looks flippen awesome! I’ve been doing the white letters on my Harley’s for years. I wouldn’t like it as much on my torch red stingray with chrome wheels though.
