If you want to deal with a small company that specializes transporting high end cars.Call John Stowe who owns Joncyn Transport @ 1-603-479-0956.He has hauled several cars for me without a problem. He is always under the big boys on price.
Thanks,
Tony
Thank you all for the suggestions. All the transport companies had a pickup estimate of 2 to 4 weeks except Passport Transports. Their price was also excellent. I searched posts that mentioned their name and looks like everyone is happy with them. I did not see any complains. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Got an email from Amoni 30 minutes ago saying that my C7 was picked up this morning. Should have it in couple of days. So far so good. I will post some pics.

Reason: spelling
I know. But 900 miles of highway on a car without any protection!!! The paint will look like Swiss cheese when I am home and for the first 500 miles I have to vary the speed because of the break-in recommendation. ugh...
Drove my C6 from Kerbeck to SC. Fun and not one scratch! As defaria, said it's a car! I drove my C6 in different gears along the highway. With my M7, C7 I drove from that dealer in NC in 4th, 5th and 6th changing every ~5 to 10 minutes; avoided 7th. Suggest you do the same if you have an automatic. Use manual mode and also avoid going into 4 cylinder mode for 500 miles. Like I did in my M7, suggest you avoid the max overdrive top gear anyway until it's broken in.
If you're that concerned, get a stretch bra. You can install in a parking lot in Altantic City!
This is a PDFs of my install with lots of pics. It has a list of the few simple hand tools needed. Don't worry about fitting the bra to the bottom sides of the air dam. You'll see after my install of a splitter I had to eliminate that function, which the instructions say are optional. No need for the washers either. If desired add them when you get home. I only use the bra for long trips and in 2 1/2 years have only had one problem, early on a truck threw a rock and make a small pit low on the windshield that had to be filled. Any "protection" you plan won"t stop that, just stay away from the back of trucks on I95! Suggest that as long as you own the car!
I thought "protection" was only something sailors used when getting into port?!

I didn't get Expel installed on my car until I had over 1K miles on it. I drove it 167 miles home in a driving rain storm with the Cup 2 tires. Despite what the OM said I used cruise control but did vary speed by driving for short periods of time at 75, then 65, then 60, then 75. I also chose different gears so when the engine was turning different rpms at the same speed. When I got home I parked the car in the garage for the night and the next day took it out for a drive around town. The following week I got the dry sump cars 500 mile oil change done at the local dealer.
900 miles is a short trip and you should be able to do it with no more than one overnight stop. Use the time to get to know your car. If you have the selectable suspension it will take some time reading the manual and choosing different options to figure out how things work. Good idea to have a companion help you with that. This is the first car I ever had that required memorizing the OM. Get those initial miles on fast so you can wring out any infant mortality issues. The car will be much better if you do that. Don't park it in the garage under a cover and not drive it.

It will definitely will not be a garage queen. This will be my DD and I should add miles fairly quickly. Thanks for the feedback.
Passport transports delivered my C7 today. Flawless service I may say. Picked up the car at the agreed time and delivered it at the agreed time without a scratch. In addition, it was the least expensive of the bunch by $300 to $500. They even got me a K-9 Police escort....
Don't be a ***** - it's a car. It can handle it. You'll have to put the miles on it sometime and surely your speed will vary during those 900 miles. The paint will be fine...
The op asked a simple question. It's obvious you didn't understand nor belong on this forum with car enthusiasts. I get my cars home and do as the op implied seal the paint and the wheels etc. before hitting the road. Some people do take care of their expensive purchases and do their best to keep them looking great. I've seen ragged out cars like yours I'm sure running around or on the used car lot which no one wants because you can tell the previous owner didn't care or was to lazy to lift a finger and keep it up. So do us a favor and go back to sleep or go eat some cheese ***** and watch the Democratic Convention on TV.
To the op I called Mershons in Ohio they delivered my 69 in 2009 which I bought from them. I Found a 1500 mile 2014 back in Feb of this year which was at a Chevy dealer approx. 30 miles from them. Called Mershons and they brought it to my front door East Tn. from Indiana for $500.

Your Z is absolutely awesome my friend...Outstanding color combo
Last July we moved 1100 miles from NJ to Fl. (Thank God.)
Not trusting any car carriers I drove each of our 3 cars to Florida, including my C6 vert. (Flew back to get each one.). The ride down in the Vette was the best. Absolutely NO REGRETS! Do it. You'll be glad you did.

Wow man. That is great. You are a courageous man. Just too many hours behind the wheel in my opinion. A while back I enjoyed long trips. Not so much anymore. Congrats.
