Default C7 length

Does anyone happen to know exactly how long a c7 is nose to tail? Wiki says 177 inches but I don't want to make garage decisions based on Wikipedia. I can't get to my storage unit to measure mine until tomorrow.

Big garage is important.
My one house close to work I like a lot but the garage is 20 by 20. Plus I cannot add to it. I notice a lot of new homes going up with 3-4 garage doors but only 20 foot deep stalls then the trucks sit out at night.
Some people pack the garage with junk and can't fit a Honda in there
My main house I extended out to around 44 ft long so it could even fit 4 full size trucks.

Keep in mind the Z06/Z07 is about 2" longer than that - in case you want to upgrade.

When we built our house, the wife had the say what went on in the house and I designed the garage. We only have a two car garage attached to the house, but I can park my dually in one side. We have another large detached garage in the back.

Oddly, it's only 1.6" longer than a '63 and 0.3" SHORTER than a '62.

and not a lot of difference in weight, but if you park them side-by-side the C7 looks a lot bigger. My question---why do the side windows on the C7 have to be so much smaller?

Probably a matter of the coefficient of drag, which has gotten steadily better over the years. Numbers vary, but this right here should give you an idea: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...nd-tunnel.html

The C7 is at .29.

I imagine so---almost all cars and probably trucks also have way too small side windows(probably the reason for visibility complaints and need for blind spot warning devices) not to mention barn-sized side doors.
