wtf colorado speed?
Yesterday I finally decided to get one and placed an order with colorado speed for an elite engineering e2-x and clean side separator.
Later that night I was reading through more threads here and came across the guy who's warranty was denied for a catch can install and how GM is cracking down on this kind of thing. After a lot of thought I decided with so long left on my warranty it wasn't worth the risk right now and emailed colorado speed to please cancel my order. (it hadn't shipped yet)
Here is the email thread:
"Hi Jesse ,
thanks for placing your order with us
here are the details of your order
ORDER # XXXXX
ORDER DATE: Wednesday 27 July, 2016
ITEM(S)
COLOR Black"

I email them back and asked why and what does my account being locked mean...this was my first interaction with them ever. It gets weirder. I get to work today to try and logon to my account to see if the order cancelled and I get messages from their apache web server that I don't have permission to access the site...it's as if the site doesn't exist anymore. I'm thinking you have got to be kidding?
Sure enough I go to the site with my phone and get there just fine. They blocked my effing IP address at work so I can't see their site because I cancelled an order? Are you serious? This is honestly one of the weirdest interactions with a vendor I've ever had...to go to the trouble to log on to your webserver and block my IP address so I can't get to your website because I cancelled an order? what the actual f***
Moral of the story is if you cancel an order with colorado speed be prepared to be blacklisted forever lol
