Do you happen to have HUD? I am worried that using the tint, even 80% might affect that. I have read that there is a difference in a HUD windshield as opposed to a non HUD windshield but I don't know what the difference would be.
I too don't know the difference but, I do have HUD and their is no difference in appearance with CXP tint @ 80% after install.

I have an app. to do my tint at the end of August and I want to do a darker tint on the small window and the trunk window but I don't want to get in trouble. We live fairly close.

I have 20% on the back 3/4 and 75% on the windshield. You really can't tell the windshield is tinted if the windows are down but when all is closed up, it makes just enough of a difference to darken everything up. Even with the 20% (on all my cars) I have never had a tint ticket. My wife was once pulled over for driving my Acura with 20% tint but was just given a warning as I honestly think the cop was looking for something else and used that as an excuse.
Obviously the type of light entering the car will play a role so these photos appear darker than what you might experience at noon, and are not entirely free of edits.

Before I tint my windows I think that I better have the dealer look at my driver side window. I can see a mark on the glass from going up & down like something rubbing on it. I dont want to mess up a nice tint job.
