So obviously we right now have a 2008 c6 with Z51, thinking about trading for a C7. definitely want Z51 again, this might seem like a dumb question but does the 1lt come with the heads up display ? or does the that start with the 2lt package?

No HUD in the 1LT level. You'll have to bump up to the 2LT.

Sold my '08 C6 Z51 in 2013 to get an early C7 Z51. Great decision! You'll love it! Had HUD in my C6 would not drive without it! Memory seats, bolster adjustment and the added subwoofer are also 'must haves,' IMO, you'll get with a 2LT. Nice to have are curb view camera, heated/cooled seats and home link that come with it as well.

No sir OP, Only the Z06 comes standard with HUD at all trims. For stingray Z-51/Non Z-51 You have to go 2LT to get it. 2LT is going to give you almost everything you could want feature wise minus the PDR and NAV. I am going off 2014 as I haven't kept up but I think the PDR comes std with 3LT anf Nav as well is standard at 3LT. Other than that 3LT just upgrades leather to napa instead of Mulan.
