Default Epic road trip!

Corvette owners should definitely hit the roads in these great vehicles! My wife and I just finished an epic 6000+ mile road trip in the C7 Z51 vert to celebrate our anniversary and it was incredible.

Day 0 - Houston, TX / Denver, CO
Day 1 - Begining of Adventure Drives AD.03 / Denver, CO
Day 2 - Denver, CO / Pikes Peak, CO / Vail, CO
Day 3 - Vail, Co / Grand Teton National Park / Jackson Hole, WY
Day 4 - Jackson Hole, WY / Yellowstone National Park / Big Sky, MT
Day 5 - Big Sky, MT / Glacier National Park / Whitefish, MT
Day 6 - Whitefish, MT / Spokane, WA
Day 7 - Spokane, WA / Seattle, WA / End of Adventure Drives AD.03
Day 8 - Seattle, WA / Tacome, WA / Burns, OR
Day 9 - Burns, OR / Winnemucca, NV / Pahrump, NV / Las Vegas, NV
Day 10 - Las Vegas, NV
Day 11 - Las Vegas, NV / Houston, TX

Pikes Peak 14,110 feet!

Big Sky, MT after midnight!

Mileage was awesome at some points.

Burned it up at others.

Surprised zero tickets...

Couldn't agree more.
I drove out to Pahrump NV from the East Coast in June with stops at Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and Arches National park as well as about 100 miles on Rt 66 in Arizona.
6000 miles in 13 days. Wonderful trip!

Planning trip to Yellowstone/ Glacier and Grand Teton for next year. Concerned about the crowds in July and August so trying to thread the needle with the weather mid September. Must do the Beartooth Highway and the Going to the Sun road!

Wow, what a great trip. I've always wanted to do something like that only in the New England area. Now if I can just get off my butt and do it.

Make sure you have lodging reservations well in advance anywhere near Yellowstone and Jackson/Jackson Hole (Grand Tetons) regardless of being past peak July and August. Ask me how I know.

yes---pics look great, thanks for posting them. Did you go out with a group or just meet fellow travelers on the road? Looks like a little traffic jam at Jackson.

What a great trip. How much luggage were you able to get in the trunk with the top down?

I might be a bit biased but that corvette is the best looking of the 3 cars. Looks like a great trip!

From Houston to Denver & Seattle to Houston the trunk was packed with the partition up. Once on the event we had a luggage truck that solved my top down issues.

Was a group of 20 cars... Sadly only two Corvettes. Frequently we rolled as two groups of 10 and ran into each other a bunch to make it the full 20. Driving thru towns near the end we would double stack the traffic lights and use both lanes so we could all try to make it thru lights instead of staying single file. I was surprised how much more fun it is driving with a group.

Don't get me wrong I love my Corvette but the McLarens look awesome. And that Lambo is not just any Lambo it was a limited Balboni edition RWD manual gated shifter owned by the man himself Valentino Balboni... So it was easily the most awesome car on the trip.

I would never own one as I can't afford the maintenance. Rob just paid something like $36K to repair a steering rack on an out of warranty McLaren. I must be a cheapskate as I would think I just wasted money that I could use for 1/2 a Corvette.

Went to Pahrump specifically to eat at My Thai! Crazy good restaurant me and my son found when we where at Spring Mountain Motorsports in early April. If you are ever in Nevada stop by and Max will feed you the best Thai food I have ever eaten... His mom can cook! If anyone here is a shark tank guy Max is working on his own line of high performance inline skates!

The sun road is awesome and definitely a bucket list item.

Yeah the photos are pretty good because I did not take most of them. We had professional Free lance photographers like Stephan Bauer and Anthony Dimaria helping us. Rob is no slouch with the equipment as well. We should be getting video footage and more photos soon.

Stephan is amazing check out one of the 1st photos he took on the trip, can't wait to see some of the ones he shot of my car.

Stephan took this photo when driving with me with the top down thru GNP.
