However I had some questions and wanted to validate I ordered the right one so I tried calling their 877 number which is open from 9-9 M-F EST and get nothing for 20 seconds then a fast busy.
It was a major CF for quite a while but many are happy now. Search this forum.
Yeah I saw some people seemed to be happy and have it. Their site is garbage though and the fact that they list a contact number with hours of operation but it is a bad number throws up big red flags.
Are there any good alternatives for essentially replicating your phone on your nav? I love the built in stuff but I prefer google maps w/traffic data and find the idea of being able to replicate everything I have on my phone in my car a cool concept.

Did I screw up? Is this a scam?
Hope he hasn't gone out of business. Sometimes he was fast getting back to me and other times not so much. I've had one in my car for a few weeks and it works great.
This thread read like a roller coaster ride.
I'm just glad it turned out all right, for a while I was feeling sorry for every body who was involved with this business.
It looks like a small businessman that just bite off more than he can chew at times, but is doing the best he can, and seems to make people happy in the end.

I don't know if they are that small, I would think to make a product like this you would need at least half a dozen of engineers. Reading all the reviews, the products seems to be solid. My conclusion it definitely wasn't designed in the basement.
I am happy with my Navtool. One nice feature is I am able to display live television from Dish Network using their Dish Anywhere app. I can stream live or pre-recorded shows from my Hopper tuner. Some states have laws prohibiting live video visible to the driver while the car is in motion, so I don't recommend that.

The product seems to be well engineered except for the addition of a long power umbilical strung under the dash. The original concept had a power source local to the box but that was scrapped for some reason which I believe resulting in the long delays of product delivery. They claimed they were waiting for chassis covers but I'll bet the rewiring was the root cause of the delays.
I was on their website last Friday anticipating buying for my 2014 Z51. Up pops a CHAT BOX so I ask the question “Is all the problems with the C7 Corvette been resolved” answer “20,000 units sold and absolutely no problems” I suggested that number according the Corvette Forum was closer to 600 and lots of problems. --- NO RESPONSE
Dealing with NavTool over a period of months was a real challenge. However, the finished product is excellent. Once updated as Elmer recommends, it works flawlessly. I am very glad that I rode the roller coaster to the end. I see some people on the Forum using their cell phones with a front video camera to see how close they are to curbs. I guess this is a cheaper solution, but I like the fact that I have a front view on my Nav screen without fiddling with a cell phone. The front view comes up automatically when you shift from reverse to forward. In addition, I can do wireless phone streaming from my Android phone. Thank you NavTool, and thank you Elmer for the outstanding installation instructions. Norm
