The feedback I'm getting is that NavTool has not acknowledged receipt of the information customers sent in on the device configuration preferences nor has NavTool responded to questions about when the orders will ship.

I'm terribly pessimistic, but so do I. I really wanted this thing to get done. I dropped off of the pre-order when it became a "pre-pay" before any product was built. I shorted myself on getting factory nav thinking "oh, I use my phone for maps anyway". When NavTool started their pre-order for this mirroring device, I was all about it. Then red flags started popping like flares from a fighter jet with a heat seeking missile on its tail when "Sammy" couldn't correspond in readable English, the pre-order became a pay me now!, the shipping dates slipped 3 times, and evidence surfaced the company had done this on several car forums. There's folks that supposedly have it...marc4427 (hasn't been back since posting pics) and a guy who said he's been a beta tester for 8 months and just got r leased from his non-disclosure agreement and has it installed (haven't heard a peep from him after that either). Good luck, hope it's all I wanted it to be for everyone else. I'm thinking of trading up to a Z06 and get nav with it.

Also, think about this.. Why would his picture of the Navtool "completely working in his car" end up being photographed while sitting on the floormat?
Most likely he just had a unit with plugs coming out of the back of it going NOWHERE.. Just to show that he "has a working unit". Such an obvious fraud.

I guess some people just like abuse? I got tired of waiting forever and all the 
and drama and found another way to get-r-done. If you really, really need it bad, it can be done. There are lots of great posts on using a separate TFT displays and one way to get it on the dash but that not for the faint of heart.

Just don't use the 2016 dual camera grill from GM like I did. All this is off the shelf. No products made from Unobtainium.

That's one way to do it. It doesn't fit my idea of a "good" looking solution.
They are getting on my nerves but I can still wait a little longer before I make a termination of my intention. It is actually my last nerve so they need to get me a tracking number this week or my patience may end.

The "Beta tester" guy is a Navtool dupe account, I can guarantee you that as they had 2 dupes caught on the Acura forums too.
Also, think about this.. Why would his picture of the Navtool "completely working in his car" end up being photographed while sitting on the floormat?
