Most likely he just had a unit with plugs coming out of the back of it going NOWHERE.. Just to show that he "has a working unit". Such an obvious fraud.

I've been trading PM's with Ron A over in the Acura site. I happed to notice the 2 shills in that thread over there. When something similar was seen here the Mod addressed it. They actually used the same name on both forums just changed the end of the username. Not smart.

Don't be hard on savewave. There is a lot going on behind the scencs and savewave is certainly looking out for our users.

But we'd like to thank everyone that so graciously paid in full for their "pre-order".

Doubt they'd even be generous enough to offer a thanks. Just turned out to be a flat-out, high-tech money grab (robbery) if you ask me.

You certainly are a patient bunch, I'll give you that. I would have gotten a refund long ago.

I gave up when they threatened me to pay in full or they would cancel my preorder a week before Christmas. I've been very vocal about NavTool from that time forward. This whole time the preorder did not smell right. Then I came to discover NavTool was selling the same product on multiple different non Corvette forums. I got concerned that people might be in trouble. I started looking and come to find out they just got vendor status again right before this preorder was announced. Same thing on multiple other sites.

I have traded PM's with most site Admins that NavTool was a vendor on. Almost all have pulled their account due to overwhelming issues with them and their total lack of meaningful communications, outright lies and poor customer treatment. All of the above are FACTS.

While this is pure speculation on my part here are my thoughts. NavTool is probably a company of 1-3 employees. They may have been bigger years ago. This may be why they keep hanging their hats on previous success. My guess is there are a couple of guys sitting in mom's basement trying to put these together as fast as they can. I'm thinking he may have had design and testing issues and possibly even parts issues.

That said, there was a lot of lying and making up multiple accounts and posting false information on multiple threads. Almost all have been deleted and you will never see them. I don't think he has anywhere near 300 pre orders he claims to have. My guess is maybe 50 are left on the original list. Their spokesman/owner seems uneducated and has no mastery of the English language. He is also VERY bad at answering question because he does not want you to know the truth. He is also extremely unprofessional and acts like a 15 year old stomping his feet when he does not like the fact that someone has the audacity to ask a real question. Again, speculation on my part but I believe you guys funded his development of this product which was pure vaporware before he collected all your money.

Even though I'm speculating again, I do think everyone left on the preorder list will get their unit. It will probably work well and many will be happy. I just wouldn't hold my breath for an end of March delivery.

I would never deal with Sammy/George/Vaitaly due to the way this whole debacle was handled. There are also now reports that they are fighting deputes with credit card companies even though your money was supposed to be 100% refundable.

Also note that I got about 50 rude, obnoxious PM's from NavTool before I put them on my "Ignore list".

Good luck folks. I hope your experience is better than mine was.

I'm gonna withhold a statement I was about to make...creating shipping labels, huh? That should be instantaneous, with a tracking number...unless they have a dot matrix printer. Come on NavFools, this is 2016, not 1984. That excuse don't work!
