Anybody else think the stock seats for the C7 Stingray are not very comfortable? I've driven to Las Vegas in my C4, C5, C6 and C7. It's only about 300 miles and I always stop for gas and a bite to eat. When I took my 2015 I had to stop twice, coming and going, and get some Advil because my legs hurt so much. This isn't some medical condition. They're fine when I drive a different car. So I'm just wonderin.........
You're not the only one. Many have had some problems with the seats. This may help you find a cure. The only tip I can give is to let the front of the seat bottom down a little to keep the bolsters from pushing on your thighs so much if that's what is giving you problems.
Many have complained about them, and an equally large number say they are just fine. The bolsters on the seat bottoms do stick up a bit more than the C6, but I would say it probably has more to do with how you are sitting on them on long trips, as to an actual overall design problem.
Wallets in back pockets seem to add to the problem.
Don't have any problems with either of ours ('14, '16), and we drove both across country after taking Museum delivery (4500 miles each trip).
Drove from Lynchburg Tennessee to Daytona Florida in one straight shot in mine.
Also just did a 500 mile trip from the Bay Area to Vegas via the scenic route (120 through Yosemite and over to 95) last Thursday.
Sorry to hear at yours don't seem to fit you as nicely as ours fit us. Maybe try some additional adjustments (tilt, height, seat back, bolsters) if you haven't already done so?

At 5'9" & 165 lbs. the base GT seats fit me perfectly, (1LT, no adjustable bolsters or lumbar). I have driven 13 hr stretches with no back or leg discomfort.
That said, I have absolutely no idea how larger individuals could get comfortable in these seats. If they fit me "snugly" I can't see how others could not feel squeezed in them.
I just drove a 350 mile trip to the NC coast. My wife and I usually stop half way for a food break. The bottom seat is great. I did have to wiggly my back a few times to get comfortable but overall the base seats were fine.
Mine are comfortable to sit in, but once I'm driving, the seat cushion bounces me like I'm on a trampoline on every small bump! Going to ask for a replacement.. Never in my life!!!
5'9" 175lbs... ugh.....
I take out my wallet. That helps me a lot. My wife can't ride in the passenger seat comfortably. (5'1" 130#) Her solution was a pad from walmart for an office chair. She doesn't use it in the drivers seat only the passenger one.
My ventilated seats don't have much cushion, and at 5'10 and 152 pounds, I don't have much cushion either. So yes I would say it's a rather firm ride, and I do find myself moving around a bit to make myself comfortable on a long drive.
I wonder if the base seats without ventilation are softer?
At only 5'8 and 150 lbs, the seat bolsters dig into my thigh- the seating area need to be a little wider. My only complaint about the car is the seat bottoms.
they aren't as roomy as the c6 seats were and they seem to be a bit harder. That being said they are true "sports car seats" which is why they are so tight and narrow. They are meant to hold the driver in position through turns at speed. I am one of the guys who would prefer these seats to be more comfortable however especially the seat bottom which as said above dig into the back of my thighs. Nothing I can't live with though. The rest of the car makes uo for the less than comfortable seats which I'm sure I'll get used to over time. Coming from a Cts-v on my part and a c6 before that may just take a little time.
No question that the seats in my 2008 Z06 and 2013 427 were WAY more comfortable than my '16 Z51 GT seats. (I'm 5"11" 205)
So I took my car to Peterson's Upholstery in St. Catharines, Ontario. They took the drivers 's seat out, removed the rock hard foam in the left and right bolsters and replaced it with softer foam.
Problem solved!

It's easier to drill a grid of holes in the foam to soften it up. Works great. I think the hard bolsters are the most common complaint about the seats.
