Sport Cup tire question
Hello,
Been looking at the SC tires on my 2016 Z07 optioned Vert, and the internet photos reveal much more tread than on my new car. Are these tires practically bald? The tread groves measure about 1/16th of an inch high.
I have been reading these tires will last about 8-15K milees depending on driver habits.
Thanks for any info on this.

The fronts have a 5.9/32 tread depth. If you measure from the wear bar that gives you 3.9/32 of tread wear before the tire is considered worn out.
The rears are 5.7/32 deep or about 3.7/32 to the top of the wear bar.
You are close to an 1/8 in of usable tread depth when new. My tires were at the spec'd depths when I purchased my car with 15 miles on the clock.
