My dealer said when I ordered my 2017 GS that it would be between 6-8 weeks. I ordered mine on 9/8/16 it was built on 10/3/16, shipped 10/5/16 and received 10/7/16. Total 29 days from order to receive. I live in Texas. Just curios how common this is because of friends asking. Thanks

I would like to know too. We want to order for museum delivery and would rather it be delivered right around mid April. Any earlier and might have to drive it home in the snow. So under your schedule we should order around first of March

My dealer said it takes two days to Texas which he was correct in my case. I asked him what happens if it comes on Saturday or Sunday and he said the delivery trucks have keys to get in and drop off the cars so you could get your car tomorrow or pickup Monday.

That was my plan also. Living in Chicago, a mid March museum delivery scares me. Is it possible that they are getting the Grand Sports out faster so they can be seen in the showrooms and on the street? Everything that I've seen on the forum was 6 to 8 weeks.

I ordered my 2016 ZO6 the first part of January for a March 29th museum delivery. It was picked up by GM the last part of January and built the 3rd week of February it Sat at the factory for two weeks and delivered to the museum the 2nd week of March. They weren't that busy at the museum so it was put on display for two weeks before I picked it up.
Hope this helps, but if there are constraints on some options it could delay this timeline.

Mine was ordered 9/27 and was built yesterday 10/21. Not sure when it will arrive here in Missouri but I would think by the 1st week of November at the absolute latest.

Yes, it is a GS. However, this information came from my dealer and I'm honestly not sure it is correct seeing as my TPW wasn't until 10/24. They have been mistaken about a few things so far since I ordered the car and seeing as they are not a high volume Corvette dealer, I am wondering if they just don't understand how the whole process works. Any way to find for certain if it was produced yesterday aside from asking on the order tracking thread on here? Would really like to know for certain.

That's my point. Has anyone ordered a base or Z51 in the last month? What is your timeline?
