The OEM splitter is easy to paint and install. Just follow the directions and use plastic adherent and primer before final coats of carbon flash and clear coat.
One word of caution however, I tried to apply protective paint film (Xpel) on mine and it was a real SOB!! I decided that if it gets too beat up I'll just re-paint or replace it.
