Hello I'm new to the forum and wanted to seek out the expertise of my fellow forum members I'm searching for the z06 style stage one splitter for my Z51 painted in carbon flash. Any suggestions on the best source for quality and price? Thank you in advance.
Thank you Im looking for someone that takes paypal as that is my main source of payment with comfort. They dont seem to accept it or am I missing that option? Thanks for the response

Get a PayPal Debit Card, then you can buy from anyone! Just like PayPal you get an instant email when it's charged.
I like that one. When I did a search someone posted they bought that splitter and side rockers for $500 for all. I dont see how or is there some place to order at a huge discount? Love this look
Consider buying the OEM GM front splitter and complete a DIY paint job in Carbon Flash Metallic.......you will save about $200 overall if it matters. If not, then just buy one pre-painted in Carbon Flash.
Thank you I sent a message so I will see. Do you know if they carry both stage 1 and stage 2?
Does anyone know how I can find an actual image of GM 22932352? Its listed as a painted front splitter for the z06. I think this is what I am looking for but cannot find a pic. Anyone?

That's what I thought GM has it listed as painted carbon so I thought it came carbon flash as the counter guy said it does come painted. Guess I was misinformed. Thanks for the help

I would just get the factory splitter and not paint it... Painting only causes grief later for a part that will eventually hit something.
I also like the GM version because it comes to a single point instead of following the contour of the front fangs.
I suggest you also go ahead and drill the extra holes on the leading edge to avoid drooping later.
I used the same trim screws that hold the bumper cover, except for the two middle holes where I could not reach the back side of the bumper to attach the nut (u-nut). For those, I used a 1/4" plastic rivet.

Has anyone painted the splitter in Carbon Flash by doing it themselves?
I did and it came out fantastic! Looked beautiful for a couple thousand miles, eventually looked like it took a shotgun blast with birdshot with dozens of tiny rock chips. Moral of the story is if you are going to paint it you need to wrap it or it will get chipped up. Eventually it looked terrible so I sprayed it with black plasti-dip and called it a day.

The OEM GM splitter is difficult to paint as it is made from an ABS plastic material. There is also a slight texture to the surface, which makes painting somewhat difficult. I decided to mount the front splitter the way it arrived straight out of the box.
As other CF member(s) have stated, it is inevitable that there will be some destruction to the splitter from road debris.
However, I did paint my C7 GTX fiberglass side skirts which turned out great and there little difference in appearance from the matt finish of the front splitter to the gloss of the side skirts.
My suggestion is to leave the front splitter alone and mount it "as is".
The so-called "poverty" splitter is so low priced, if it ever gets total destructed I will simply replace it. It has been almost 2 years now since installation and it still looks like new.
Just stay back away from the parking stall curbs.

There are a few OEM GM splitters available on eBay for $123.70 which includes shipping.....the best price I have seen recently.
