I seriously would NOT use goo-gone. That's a solvent. Not a good idea. Just use fishing line and it will be fine. Then rub your finger over the remaining double sided tape and roll it off.


I went a bit further debadging. I also painted the side markers with plasti-dip to make it even cleaner.

Goo Gone is citrus based and states it can be used on painted surfaces. I used it and had no issues at all. Goof Off is a solvent and should not be used.

90% rubbing alcohol is also a good adhesive remover.

Why debadge? Some people don't want as much advertising on their car, while others want to add more logo's to their car. I wonder how many times Corvette and the crossed flags are on our cars.

IMHO it looks ok but, I just don't understand why you debadge? My assumption is you bought the car for the looks and the badges was on the car when you bought it . . . I guess I will never get it . . .
