Manufacturers keep putting more and more speakers in when taking that same amount of money and putting it into a few quality speakers with a quality amp would sound so much better. I know it's a marketing thing and I spend most of my time listening to that sweet exhaust anyway so it's a little thing but the stock upgraded sound system really sucks.
One of the best sounding car stereos I've heard was when I had a Challenger with a cheap head unit and just one set of midrange components with the tweeters mounted high in the doors. No rear speakers. Whenever I say this, people think I'm crazy. But when it comes to speakers, more is not better.

When car manufactures brag about a car with 15 speakers, it's all BS.

Or at a minimum, move the current indicators to the bottom of the instrument panel, so they are not blocked by the steering wheel. I'm really tempted to buy some small stick-on mirrors to put at the bottom of the instrument cluster so they can reflect the turn signal indicators into my line of sight.

That would be so tacky though.

Better yet, how about including the turn signal indicators in the HUD like my C5 and C6?

Those indicator arrows are hard to see and more than once I've found them still blinking after changing lanes on the freeway when I had my music playing loud...

FWIW, simple fix that has worked for 3 years!

Thought since the C7 cup holders were slightly deeper than my C6 they might hold a full water bottle I always have in the car.

When I got my September 2013 built C7 Z51 I bought a C7 Chevy logo bottle that fits snug with some felt pads added. Worked for a few weeks at high "g" turns. Had to stop suddenly and found the center divider was not very secure and tilted with the bottle. Water all over!

Recently improved on my initial design that has worked and it's simple.
Removed the ~3/32 thickness rubber pad under the divider, (it just pulls up.) Then used UV activated plastic adhesive and made a fillet from the divider to the bottom.

The Chevy bottle, full of water, holds in 1 "g" turns and 1+ "g" stops!

Easy solution has held for 3 years in 1+ "g" turns and stops with full bottle of water! New easy method. First, removed the ~3/32 rubber pad from under the divider (it pulls up.) Second use UV activated plastic adhesive and make a fillet from the divider to the bottom, both sides. Lots of time to make it smooth, then turn on the UV light-great stuff!

just asking, why does one need to see the light blinking on the inside ? does one not know they have the signal and turning ? who cares if it flashes inside, just saying.

I would be happier if the turn signal blinkers would appear on the HUD like they USED to on the C6

Ever make a sweeping turn that requires the signal but isn't sharp enough to turn it off automatically?

Well maybe I'm the only driver on the forum who at one time left them blinking. One knows that they've been set, but being used to them self-cancelling on full turns, one may forget to manually cancel them after a slight turn changing lanes. Especially on a day when there's lots of traffic, the music is on loud, and one's mind is occupied with stuff.

That's why it's nice to have a visual reminder. Every car I've ever driven up until now has had them where they could be readily seen.

Understand. Don't have that problem as I don't have my phone turned on - don't use a Blue Tooth connection either in the Vette!

I have enough to focus on trying to stay away from distracted drivers texting or holding their phone. Frankly even a Blue Tooth conversation is somewhat distracting! If it's important, I'll see it when I turn my phone back on when I stop!

I haven't left them blinking, but when using gentle pressure to get the auto 3 blinks only, I sometimes can't tell if I pressed down hard enough to activate the feature or not. Adding indicators to the HUD would be an easy fix.

I believe you simply push down on the wiper arm for single swipe and push for washer mode. I forget but I know they are there.

11 The HUD should stay with your choice and not switch with the display mode. If the DIC is set for auto based on driving mode, when you change from sport to touring it automatically changes the HUD to just speed.
I believe that's settable in the settings.

17 Would like the doors to work without having to put it in park. Not that I want to open the doors while moving but in an emergency park might not be an option. Or simply stopping to let a passenger out.
Not sure about the A8 but with an M7 all you need to do it hit the unlock button to let somebody out.

And let me add another one: Turn signals in the HUD!

red white and blue lights (onstar) in my mirror. I keep thinking I'm being pulled over. How does something that stupid make it into production? Just make them all white. Or at least use green instead of blue.
