Yesterday on a 60 mile run on a relatively flat highway I noticed the tach wavering up and down 100 RPM, could actually feel and hear it. thought it might be me, so then engaged the cruise control, with the same result.
With the best 50 mile mileage screen I notice it bumps up and down 2 bars with the tach. It's a Z51 with 22K miles and I've never noticed it before. It needs an oil change in the next 2 weeks, along with the software for the airbag recall, should I have the dealer looking for something? Thanks

You don't mention it in your OP, but do you have the A8? If so, that is a dreaded symptom of the Torque convertor going bad. If you have a 2015 and it's an early year model, I would go to the dealer with that symptom. 22K sounds like a '15.
Sounds like torque converter that has been well documented on this forum as having problems. Do a search and I believe that is the symptoms.
I tried to search the symptoms but couldn't find anything, was wondering that myself, but it performs flawlessly otherwise. Smooth clean shifts, no shuddering or anything like that whether running in manual or automatic modes. Maybe a hard shift or two when cold but otherwise good.
