Is it better to connect cell phone via blu-tooth or thru USB connection?

Not sure I can say which is better but I use Blu-tooth and it works fine no issues.

If you are looking for the music, the sound volume and quality is better using the USB connect. Really does not matter for phone use.

AFAICT - phone calls are always on Bluetooth. But you could test. Connect your phone via USB. Turn off the Bluetooth. Try to make a call...

USB charges your phone. Bluetooth doesn't.
