Default Need help from a dealer??

I have a GM Accessories Certificate that I want to use to buy some parts. One of the parts I want is sold by ChevyMall. It is a licensed GM part and is eligible to be bought using my certificate. I need a dealer who will order this part and one other GM part without marking them up. If anyone can help me please send me a PM or email. Thanks very much.

Randal:

gmpartsdirect.com is a division of Flow Automotive Group which owns several GM dealers. http://www.flowauto.com/

They are also or have been a CF vendor.

Contact Karen at gmpartsdirect to see if they will honor your certificates. They are one of the best on-line OEM GM Parts dealers/vendors I have worked with and have a price match guarantee. Go to their website and go to "Contact Us" and fill out the question box to see if they will honor your GM Certificate.

GMPartsDirect.com has been online since 1999 and is a division of Flow Automotive, so we are familiar with the needs of our online shoppers. Our parts specialists have decades of experience in helping customers find the right part for their Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Hummer, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, or Saturn. If you have a special project and cannot find the part you are looking for, or just general questions, send us an email so that we can assist you the GMPartsDirect way!

We supply genuine OEM parts and accessories for your GM car, truck or SUV. Genuine parts and accessories are manufacturer recommended and keep your vehicle in peak running condition. We sell only original current production OE GM Parts. Parts and prices listed on our site are based off GM pricing. We can sell this low only because of our volume of parts sales. All parts sold on our web site will have the same GM warranty as parts sold at any GM dealer nationwide. For more information about the GM parts warranty click here.

Just enter a valid GM part number in the space provided on our home page to check price and availability. You can find fast moving part numbers in our special featured section on our homepage. Due to the huge size and complexity, we do not have a full catalog for all GM parts online. If you cannot find the part number you need, please email us through contact us with the make, model, year, VIN and a good description of the parts you need and we will respond as soon as possible. In most all cases the VIN number is used to tell what options, colors, and special packages that came on your GM automobile specifically. We determine the correct part based on the options the vehicle came with. This mainly applies to 1990 and newer vehicles.

Hope this information helps what you are looking for.

^^^ Thanks, I tried them. They won't accept the certificate.

Sorry, they would not accept the certificates. I am not sure how they work. I thought Flow Auto might have been a good source. Hopefully, you will find a working partner.

My local dealer will accept the certificate but wants to mark up the parts by 30%. I've contacted a couple more dealers to see what they will do. The other issue is that GM and ChevyMall said that any licensed part from ChevyMall is also eligible for use with the certificate but the dealers I have contacted are saying otherwise. I hope to find one that will order the part I want from ChevyMall.

Have you tried Gene Culley a CF Vendor? He claims to be a GM Authorized "Accessory" seller, and he claims to offer the lowest prices at cost.

Worth a try and see if he is willing to help a CF member. There are many CF members who support his business, see if he will support you.

It would be interesting to see what he says or does for you.

Maybe contact Niko at subchev, they are a dealership. The forum member mpuzach works for a dealership, he seems super helpful, I'm sure a quick pm to him wouldn't be a bother.

What a pain, I hope you get this figured out!

Hey Randall,

I saw your thread, and wanted to reach out to you so you know that our team is always here to help! Our dealerships are independently owned and operated, so we cannot speculate on the policies in their Parts Departments, but we'd be happy to reach out to your dealer for more info.

If you'd like our assistance in this way, please don't hesitate to send us a private message.

Have a great night,

Corey K.

I am working with Niko at Suburban Chevrolet. It's a shame I had to go clear across the USA to find a cooperative dealer. Very disappointed in my local dealer parts department. They have LOST me as a customer in the future. I will buy all my parts online.

Kudos to Rick and Niko at subchev. We worked out a fair deal.
