I also could not get Navigate to McKnee Ranch to work for crap. Turns out I had to say Navigate to McKnee Ranch State Park or it wouldn't work. I found that if you didn't say the plural form of some places it couldn't find it. The voice recognition of MyLink is total crap! Couldn't be easier? Of course it can - get Android Auto instead. It's 10x better than MyLink.
Me: "Hey Siri, take me to the DMV"
Siri: "The weather in Santa Clara is going to be mild today"
Me again: "Hey Siri, take me to the DMV"
Siri: "Would you like to know the score of the Giants game?"
Me last time: Hey Siri, take me to the DMV"
Siri: "Would you like a list of local diners?"
Me: "Screw you, Siri"
Siri: "Do you need a Phillips or regular?"

Reliable voice command technology is still ten years off IMO.

Sounds like you need to upgrade to an Android phone!

Siriously... (<- pun) - I've heard that Siri has been way out of date for quite some time now. Apple's falling behind majorly... ah, another joke - bigly! :-) It's a shame really as iPeople should get the benefit of good voice recognition too.

I did love how it asked you if your needed a Phillips or regular screw driver. Did it really respond that way or were you making a joke?

Used GM Nav today. The road I was on did not even show up on the map. Apple car play always works and just have to tell SIRI where you want to go

I will always use it

fixt

I have concluded that I must be speaking in some foreign, unknown dialect of English. Most of the time the Nav presents the list of destinations that isn't even close to what I said.

Is there a way to have Waze on the screen via Apple Car Play or just Apples proprietary Maps app?

I tried using OnStar nav twice. you have to talk to a real person. if you miss a turn, you have to call her back! onstar is very old technology.

WTF?

Onstar just sends the route to my car. If I miss a turn, then it reconkulates. (yes, that was a joke...)
