this is the link to the noise my car is making at idle and cruising speeds on hot restarts of the car. The car doesn’t Make this noise on cool start ups at all. Only when I go somewhere stop the car and then restart the car. It continues to make this noise until the car cools down and sits for a few hours.

Can you remove the belt and see if it’s still making the noise. That will confirm it is in fact the blower ?

I can to make sure. But I know for a fact that this noise started almost immediately after I installed the supercharger a year ago. My mechanic who installed it heard it and took a stethoscope and said it was coming from the rotor packs.

did your noise only present itself on hot restarts and during idle and slow cruising?

I could hear mine only at idle when the engine was warm. It was only a slight rattling sound with mine.

yeah usually a slight rattle but right now with the whether being over a 100 degrees the rattle is a lot worse. During the winter months the rattle is much less noticeable

It’s normal, mine makes more of a rattle noise after it heat soaks then it does on a cold start, When mines very hot it sounds exactly like yours. One persons opinion of how loud it is my be different then what someone else thinks. I even sent mine back to Edelbrock a few years ago and they said everything checked out OK. I believe it’s the gears on the back of the rotors expanding after heat soaking. I was told that as long as it happened under 1200rpms it’s a non issue and it’s from oscillating in the tune when there is no load on the blower out of boost. If you ever did need a repair Edelbrock supercharger tech said they have SuperChargersOnline.com do all their repairs for that last few years. But like I said it’s normal, I’ve seen lots of guys with Edelbrock E force and Magnuson PD blowers post about a hot rattle, they both use the same Eaton 2300 rotor packs. Kenny Bell had a good write up in the link below.

It’s annoying but you very rarely hear about a PD blower failing

Hi, Did you install the E-Force yourself? I'm thinking about that SC with the stage 2 pulley over doing a Callaway setup. Any regrets?

Yes I installed myself and no regrets. The Maggie is nice as well. The Callaway blower is designed by Callaway build by Edelbrock
