Going to Spring Mountain owners school Dec 27-28. So far all I have is soft sole shoes and a sd card. Thanks in advance.

Probably ought to bring britches, a couple of shirts, sunglasses, and few extra dollars for incidentals.
Edit: And a huge appetite for good times!

That's all I took (besides normal luggage). But I brought back a truckload of knowledge, and a nice jacket

If you already own your own helmet you might consider bringing it instead of using one of theirs.

What kind of helmet? Will full face motorcycle helmet work?

You'll be fine using their helmets, they have head socks that you use every time. If you take your own, it should not be a full face because it limits your peripheral vision.

Call Spring Mountain and ask.

My main argument in favor of your own helmet is a preference for keeping my germs to myself, but they do provide clean balaclavas to wear with their helmets. The other argument is that your helmet fits you for sure. You might not get a helmet there that's a good fit.

And please note I did say "if you already own your own." I wouldn't buy a helmet just to go to Spring Mountain.

I took my own full face helmet that I've used in numerous HPDEs as I am very comfortable with it. Just my personal preference to wear my own instead of a community head pail. I mailed it both ways at $20 USPS priority each way. There is a post office in Pahrump, just 5 minutes from the track.

Mine is a Snell SA 2010. The track personal never checked mine, but if you show up with a motorcycle helmet it will likely get their attention.

Was thinking of combining this trip with another one with my wife. Is there anything there for her to do while I'm having the time of my life?

.not in any order but i suggest

you should would watch videos of the track...close your eyes and drive the track after your first day on it in your head ! ..that will help you be much better for day 2 !!

listen to your instructor BUT also tell him/her your goal for the event...

try to make a goal you can achieve and work towards it

try to make smooth and decisive inputs. (you can practice this before you go)

familiarize
your self with the terms "Turn In" "Track Out" "Apex" "Threshold Braking"

PS if they have a skid pad spend some time on it !! what you learn can save you later in driving your car

I sent my wife in August and she had the best time driving the course and learning about her new C7. Then last Sept, we had an opportunity to run some laps at Watkins Glen and she drove and I was the passenger. She learned a lot at Spring Mtn!

I also am about to book this for late January. My girlfriend does not want to go as she feels she will have nothing to do. I did explain to her they do have some activities. I wanted to stay on the strip for a few days after as well. She is still not interested so im going to go alone. I have heard many people go alone and you will meet and make friends providing you all have the same interest. - Mike

You'll do fine. Plenty of people there solo, but you have a common interest!
