Do you want a front camera for parking or a camera to record what goes on in front of your car while you drive?
Record while you drive, I have a blackvue. It allows me to download to a card or my iPhone.
To see what I have in front of me when I park I use Navtool. You need to add a $20 camera to the nose of the car and hook up the wires for the Navtool. IT DOES NOT RECORD what it sees. It gives video to the Nav screen. You can manually turn it on and it stays on with video on the Nav screen. If it is set to auto, the video comes on when you place the car in D or 1st. It stays on until you get to 8 MPH then it shuts off and what ever you have displaying on the NAV screen pops up (like the street map).
