Default Something wrong with fuel rail script?

Hi, I'm new to the C7's. I've been searching every website I can find for a C7 convertible. One thing keeps troubling me. I have seen pic after pic of engine shots with the Corvette script on the fuel rail covers torn off, rubbed off, faded off, whatever. Are "all" C7's experiencing this? Is there a clearance problem with these hoods? Any damage to the underside of the hood? Any recalls? Thanks, Nick.

I think that there were a few bad production runs where the paint did not stay on, but does not appear to be a widespread problem.
Mine still look fine after 3 years.
