Hmm...I have a very sloped driveway and with the car off, even with the pedal to the floor it still rolls. I would never do this.

For those that start the car with the garage door closed, how does the inside garage door look from the exhaust blasting it time over time? (and do you hold your breath until you back out completely?!?)

No difference from the other positions with the other cars. I have white-coated insulation on the inside of my doors and the panels behind the Vette look the same as all the others so, apparently no effect. There is about 3 feet of clearance from the tips to the door so that may help. I only leave the door closed long enough to close the NPP valves and then I'm off so it's probably only closed 10-15 seconds with the car running.

I leave for work around 0530 as well. Our bedroom is situated right above the garage. My wife hasn't complained once about it waking her or the baby. I start it in the garage and drive away gingerly. I always make sure to put it in stealth mode before I park it when I come home so that it starts as quietly as possible.

That's what I would do. That's what Mr.owc6 does when he takes the blue one, and it's O'dark:30.

We have Bullets on both, so there is no "stealth" mode.
