Default Personalized menu

I am having problems accessing the different parts of the menu. When I press menu all I get is the audio.
I want to access the other parts such as engine information and exhaust mode. I have been in the different sections before so I know they are there.
What am I forgetting?
Thanks

All very well laid out in the manual.

Are you referring to the driver information center (behind the steering wheel) or the center screen?

Once there, different model years use slightly different verbiage. Look for something to the effect of "Vehicle Management".

Have you tried while the engine is on?

^^ Yeah, the car either has to be running or in service mode to get to some of that stuff.

Start the engine and then go into the infotainment system and select "Settings", then "Driving Mode", and that is where you will find what you are looking for. On my car those setting options don't come up unless the engine is on.

Engine Information?

You have to have the NPP exhaust in order to have the sound management option on your screen.

Since this is a two week old thread, I suspect he's figured it out by now.

However, I didn't hear anyone specifically tell him to press the button w/ the little house icon, then select a category on the screen.

I initially found that confusing the first day I had the car.

Yes, in post #6 above you said "home screen", not the button with the "little house icon." Your post was exactly why I chose the latter term to be more clear to some who may need it.

I know this is going to sound a bit arrogant but if people cannot figure out simple pictographic things like House Icon = Home Screen key then in reality they shouldn't be walking let alone driving.

ISO type pictographs (like the power button icon or home icons) are standardized and simplistic to understand so they are language independent and a person with a 5th grade understanding of the world can use them.
