Is anybody having trouble logging in to the my chev app the last couple days it says in vehicle status upgrade now i have turned it off and turned it back on still the same thing and i have the basic plan until 2022

If you don't log in frequently start your car take it out of the garage and with the engine running UPDATE or refresh the app.

Yes, you need to call them and file a case!
Been dealing with them since Monday on 3 GM vehicles. Hours on the phone and no love. Now have 3 cases working with a 3-5 day wait until they figure out what they have screw up.

Damn, after seeing this post I updated my onstar app and lost the ability to check my gas levels and tire pressure. I called Onstar and although they gave it back to me for 3 months since I just signed up, they told me on the new version of the app, you lose access to the features to check gas/tire pressure. You will now have to pay for the feature with a different onstar package other than basic. I have an Android.

DON'T UPDATE YOUR APP!!! turn auto updates off so you can keep this feature.

For anybody that has a basic plan (no premium trial) and the old android version of the onstar
android app, let me know if you can check tire pressure/gas. I'm going to have to look for an old version of the app now if the old version lets you as based on what the rep told me.

Updated OnStar Remote link, My Chevrolet, My GMC, and My Cadillac aps two weeks ago and all was good until Monday morning. Now all I get is "vehicle status upgrade now " on all 3 vehicles, 2 are still under the new car premium trial.

Boy, these guys really want to frustrate their customers!

I found some really old copies of the android app. I removed the current version of MyChevrolet and installed the older version or MyChevrolet and even the old OnStar app. The behavior is the same on the old version. No more Vehicle Status. I assume this means they killed it in their back end.

I send them a Support request but I am confident they will tell me I have to upgrade to a higher level of Onstar as this is no longer under the basic plan.

They SUCK!!!

What Android Onstar version did you install? The newest is 3.9

I was able to download an old apk app version from the following site:

I do actually have access to the tire pressure/gas/range/oil but the Onstar rep said she was going to add 3 months back to my account since I had just signed up and I didn't have access to it when I checked.

Anybody else (not paying for a premium plan and has basic only) able to uninstall the new version 3.9 (if thats what you have) and reinstall version 2.2 from the link above to see if it gives you this data other than key fob features?

I installed that version from the link, but sadly it would not let me logon - it wanted to force me to upgrade.

I got a response from Onstar:

I know that having your vehicle status service is important to you and I am truly sorry for any confusion this matter may have caused. To resolve this matter, at your earliest convenience, please uninstall and reinstall your app, this should correct this issue. If you're still experiencing difficulties, please contact our Connection Center at 1.877.558.8352 and an advisor will be more than happy to assist you with resetting your app. Our Connection Center Team is available from 7am - 10pm Monday through Sunday EDT.
So I uninstall the MyChevrolet app, and reinstall. Now I lost the FOB controls - GONE! Also the choice for Vehicle Status is gone also.

These people are so F*CKING Crapulant!

chatted with on star today the basic plan does not get the vehicle status have to get at the least the protection plan which is 14.99 a month screw that just do without
