I hear ya I can't stand paying for it
but over the last 3 years I always put in the cal when my promo is up
i call and cancel that day and they always offer me 5 months for $20
if they don't within 1 week I get a letter with the same offer

Last year alone, 569,847 miles of road were updated in the U.S.—and that's only the beginning. Here are a few other notable changes to the navigation system map:

If you take advantage of the "FREE" trial period for Sirius, DO NOT provide them your credit card number to have on file. I've had difficulty trying to cancel the subscription once they had my credit card number. Very frustrating.
