I think I'll stay with my Callaway SC757. Yes, I have 43 less horsepower than the Yenko but I have 27 lb-ft more torque, a warranty from Callaway that is accepted at any GM dealer, and my Z06/3LZ is over $20,000 less expensive.
However, there is the rarity factor of having one of only 50 made and I'll agree that I like their exhaust. Good looking car.
Who knew that a dealership back in the 60s plastering its name on the side of a car would make it valuable today (I've been watching too much Barrett-Jackson this weekend).

The bumper to bumper with GM should stand. Let's just wait for the all around performance. .......it could turn some heads.
800hp in front of a stock transmission? Doubt that GM is going to warranty that.....rear diff the same. The YENKO warranty only calls out the S/C and motor.
Nice looking car, but way out of my price range. Besides, I agree that a GS with a Callaway package would be the better buy for the reasons mentioned.
don't disagree...their approach seems to be rebuild the entire engine and put a blower on top whereas Callaway is putting a bigger blower (less stressed) on a stock engine....
my questions are which is the better way to go..? both seem like they are at the edge scary and giggles.... considering both at the moment have spoken with both companies and both are very nice ....and both have a good track record.... my silly little mind was looking at sending the tranny for an upgrade to someone like Rockland standard and upgrading the suspension with a DSC upgrade however both companies told me that the cars don't need either nor do they need an upgrade to the drivetrain or cooling package... .....by the way anyone know if the carbon fiber driveshaft from the Zo6 is on the Grandsport as this is what is being used as a base for the Yenko?

$19K for another 43hp, unknown reliability, warranty in question, resale unknown.......hmmmmm.
All true but it's a reality and all 50 will probably get sold. B.T.W., op was simply putting it out there. When someone here gets their hands on one than we can have a fair comparison.
