Default Lowering passenger side windshield wiper ?

If this subject has been discussed already on this forum, my apologies. I ran a search, but, didn't find anything.

Looking at my 2014 C7 2LT coupe, I've always wondered why the windshield wiper arm on the passenger side isn't lower, such that the arm/wiper blade assembly isn't visible, like the wiper arm is on the driver's side.

Have any members been successful in lowering, and/or, readjusting the location of the passenger side wiper arm such that it is not visible, and, if so, I'd be most interested in how they did it, and, pics after such adjustment.

The hood scoop helps hide the driver side wiper, and the passenger side cannot go much lower without getting off the glass into the cowling.
It may also have something to do with the timing of the two wipers so that the travels are equal and they do not hit each other, and if you lower the blade it will not appear level.

If you adjust the left blade so that it will be lower, you would also need to change the angle of the blade to the arm to make it look right.
Of course the ultimate adjustment is to remove it.

Windshield wiper arm doesn't bother me, necessary evil.

A pic would be helpful. My passenger blade sits about 3/4 inches away from the bottom of the windshield. Where does yours rest?

I like having wipers, but this guy took his passenger wiper off:

I do not have a pic because my car is totally wrapped and covered. You can remove the complete wiper arm assy and drop it to the very bottom of the windshield with no side effects. when I stand in front of the car, the 2 blades look almost at the same height.

That is exactly what I was wondering if it could be done. When your C7 comes out of winter rest, I'd be most grateful if you could post a pic.

Perfect!! That's the look I was hoping to achieve. Was the change very difficult..ie do I need to take my C7 to the dealership, or, is this something I can do? Also, how did lowering the passenger wiper arm effect the way the wipers worked, when engaged, if at all?

If you have never removed a wiper arm before I wouldn't try it. It is easy for me as I am a auto tech. Any auto mechanic can do it.
I does not effect wiper operation other than the passenger blade will not sweep as far to the left. The drivers side takes care of it any way.
