I am starting a protest and need your help. Due to living in the Midwest my beloved Corvette has been jailed in my garage for two months, and needs to be unleashed back on to the streets where it belongs in its natural environment. Please help support my cause.
This is the first time I have ever had my favorite car stored for the winter. My previous sports cars were all AWD and I had snow tires for them. This time I wanted to have just one salt-free vehicle for a change. It's turning out to be more annoying than anticipated . . .

OP- Where do you live? The North Pole? You should stop whining. And, drive your Vette. If it gets dirty, clean it. I currently own a '10 GS and '12 ZR1. Both see year round duty. I love these cars too much to see them sit in the garage.
I was transferred from Florida to Chicago and I couldn't believe how rough those Midwest winters could be. I would clean the snow from the driveway and drive the car up and down the driveway just to get my winter "fix". Sometimes the roads in the neighborhood would be nice and dry and I could drive it around and dream of warm summer days.
Wish it were that simple. Believe me I have tried convincing the wife to move South to Florida for about seven years now. I think the umbilical cord is still attached between her mom and two sisters.
The running joke in our house is that my oldest son is going to go to Florida for college, and just like Rodney Dangerfield in "Back to school " I'm going to move in with him. Lol
I moved to the central coast of Oregon for its unmatched beauty, great roads, and friendly people. In the clutch of a major winter storm right now, but I guess I cannot complain as I moved here voluntarily. LOL
Mine has been in the garage since the start of October. It's been either raining (heavily), freezing temps, two ice storms, two snow storms with another 6-8" expected today and of course every road covered with gravel.
Sooooooooo tired of this crap. Spring can't get here soon enough!
