I have my color options all figured out except for which mirrors. Going with a Blade Silver GS, black spoiler ,shark vent, machine face wheels, carbon flash stinger or I may do stinger hood stripe after purchase and use more of a carbon weave pattern material that I have seen other do on this forum. I can't decide on matching color mirrors or carbon flash MY thought is the carbon flash with add more contrast and bring out Blade Silver.
Question 1 What are your thought on which mirrors to get .I KNOW IT'S MY MONEY GET WHAT I WANT , what I want is your opinions.
Question 2 Those of you that purchased car with carbon flash mirrors with light color cars. When in seat looking out does carbon flash mirrors look out of place or standout in a bad way ?
Thanks, Dave

Interesting I just went thru that decision for my GS on order. Sold my 2014 Z51 last week and it had OEM visible CF roof. I needed side skirts to stop marking the rocker panels so added CF LG Motorsports side skirts. Then decided it would look better with a CF splitter to match. Then added a CF hood vent. The chrome grill bar looked funny with all the other CF. After spending that much on CF, wanted a real CF cover not tape. That was $250 real CF cover!
Car looked great but lots of extra cost! For my GS got white with painted top, machined faced wheels, painted carbon flash aero package and carbon flash logo's It comes with a carbon flash spoiler. Don't like stripes. Thought about carbon flash mirrors but didn't really care for the look. But with a light car thought I'd do what I had for my Yellow C6, Nova Stretch mirror covers! I took the Nova Stretch Bra I had on my red C7 and just bought the mirror covers. In the summer lots of bugs around here. I'll use the bra on longer trips but will use the mirror covers more often. They are black, not cheap about half the price of the carbon flash paint!
FWIW. These are pics of the car I just sold. Once you start adding carbon fiber parts-hard to stop!
CF Hood Vent Matches Side Skirts and Roof
Carbon Fiber, Splitter w/End Plates, CF Hood Vent, CF Side Skirts, CF Grill Bar all match the OEM exposed CF Roof.
For me the carbon flash mirrors and spoiler were a must have. I think they stand out in a good way and really add to the look oft the car. IMO I think my car would look plain with out them. I also have black wheels, carbon flash stinger, carbon flash skirts and front spliter, so I think the carbon mirrors and spoiler tie it all together nicely.

To answer question # 2. No not at all.
This is the best I can offer, a visual. Hope it helps.

These add on whether added at time of purchase or after can really add up. It's sorta like remodeling so sense I got this rip out I may as well do this also. Your old car looked great some one got a great looking car!

I'm leaning towards getting carbon flash as that was my gut feeling at first and really do like the look. but I like the look also with matching mirrors. Decisions decisions!

I agree with if ties all the black/carbon flash together from front to rear of car. I think your combo looks great. When I did build page pictures with carbon flash looked great with maybe a nasty look to it and color matching had more a sleek look.

Thanks for reply and pictures. Your pictures show the Blade Silver tons better than the corvette .com build page pictures . I have seen the Blade Silver in person and your photos are more like in person than build page. Thanks, Dave

I have AW with Carbon Flash mirror. I agree, it provides a nice contract, and I've never noticed the color while driving... GL in making your decision.
Since you decided on the black spoiler, I would go with the black mirrors. I decided on the silver spoiler and went with the silver mirrors. Regardless of your choice, you are choosing the sleekest color available.
I think you are getting very good advice here. Two good examples of the silver paint, one with black spoiler and one with silver. I think both examples look classy and were good choices.
My Laguna blue, I really like my body color mirrors.
