Favorite tires for 2016 Z51? Need help brothers
So I got an OnStar notification today that my front passenger side psi was 17. Went and looked and found this.
Anyway, as it seems I'm going to need a new tire I look to you all for some advice. First, I'm assuming I should just go ahead and replace both fronts and not just 1? I'm at ~16,000 miles so probably about time. I don't track my C7 but I am a very spirited driver... which brings me to my next question.
Is there something better for me? Obviously, I don't want to pay for something if I don't need it but for the most part price isn't so much of an issue. Obviously a better or quieter ride would be nice but I also don't want to find out I've neutered my car.
Last question - Is is worthwhile to look into wider tires for my purposes? Again, I don't track it but I drive aggressively. Very spirited. Thanks for any help!

Wasn't it nice not having to change a tire on the side of the road?
I like what the car came with, and that's what I'm going to put back on when the time comes.
I enjoy not having to carry a tire repair kit in the back of my car.

Yeah, so much so that I wake up to my car emailing me to let me know there was a problem because last night I had no idea. Easy choice is the same tires. Just wanted to see what everyone else was doing.

Well the good news is that your tire doesnt seem to have much life in them anyway. I would stick with the stock tires. They are great! If you want something a bit less expensive I had a great experience with the hankook v12 evo tires on my c6.

Unfortunately, with the Z51 tire sizes you have very little choice in tires. Go to TireRack and put in your car and it will bring up all available tires for your car. You will see that the choices are minimal.

You have the #1 rated summer performance tire on the car as OEM equipment. Seems silly to me to consider a change.
The only additional consideration is whether you'd want to switch to a tire that would perform better in cooler temps, in which case the Michelin PS AS3+ UHP all-season is the #1 rated tire in it's category. I have a set of each and run each about 6 months a year.

Well, you are due for new tires anyway, so no harm.
First, do not mix tires... buy two new front tires... even with tires of the same spec, having one new and one worn tire is dangerous.
Also, if you change the spec on the fronts, just change the rears also... yeah, I know, its expensive, but on a car like a Corvette, the tires are the only thing between you and a bad accident.
If you do "spirited" driving, the best tires are cheap insurance.

Stick with OEM.

I agree with comments above. Prior generation OEM run flats weren't that great, and got considerably worse as they aged. But the C7 OEM Michelins provide outstanding performance, with minimal compromises compared to previous run flats.
Unless you are looking for something more economical, or for cold weather use, you won't go wrong sticking with OEMs.
