Get the same thing on my 15 Sierra and the wifes 16 Yukon as well that are both DD. Even after 2 years there doesnt seem to be any pattern. Length of time since last use is certainly not the trigger.
Just a pop-up that says "the driver is responsible for all yada - yada yada.
It eventually times out and the nav screen comes back on, or if you touch the accept button on the pop-up it goes away.
^^^ Oh, you mean like a warning label found on cleaning products that says "don't drink this" or my video game console that starts up saying, "play at your own risk; fast changing screens and colors can cause seizures"?

Reason: No need to re-quote the previous post, especially if you're the next person posting.
No pop ups on the display, but a voice occasionally tells me the vehicle is equipped with On Star and to press the blue button for more info or to activate. (or something like that) It's annoying, but I pay no attention to it.
