If it works for you, that's all that matters!

I would rather dent my armrest and eventually replace it than put something that ugly on my cars beautiful interior. Sorry. At least you were ready for the negative comments, and its removable.

This. It's a depreciating Chevrolet. I drive it. I don't worry about, or care if, I dent that cover.

What dents, more like a wrinkle fest here.
But no, not doing what you have unless I get the furry dice too.

^^^ My dealer replaced mine (under warranty) that looked exactly like that - have no dents or wrinkles in the new cover

Oh my Lord, what have you done.
Really, if it works for you that's what counts. I do see a use for it if I where on a long road trip. But, not for day to day use as it reminds me of the GM cars from the 80's with all that fuzzy/fluffy upholstery.

As many has said, if it works for you. I think it takes away from the looks of the interior and, that part really doesn't cost that much to replace if the dents/wrinkles really get to you.

The photo isn't very clear.
Where did you get this console lid protector.
And I don't think it stupid, when you live in Tucson where it gets to 110 degrees you want to protect as much of the interior as you can.

That Arizona sun can be brutal...the only time I ever considered a dashcover!
OP, the picture isn't clear but if you like it, thats what matter.
I'll replace mine with a logo one and keep the OEM as a spare.

Mine certainly hasn't and I lean on it quite a bit when I get into my car in the garage. Can't fully open the door and my bad left knee requires that I lean on the center armrest to get in. Mine is a 3LT with the micro fiber suede,, not leather.
