I suppose it's possible. If it happens, we'll certainly know about on April 27th as it will be announced at the NCM bash. If I remember correctly, there have been anniversary editions in just two model years ending on "8" - 1978 and 1988.
I hope they don't. The recent 'special models' like Long Beach Red editions, etc. have traditionally not sold all that well and are for the most part tape stripe/embroidered seat variations on standard production models without any performance upgrades. Nice cars? Yes. Collectible or really special? No. The 25th and 50th anniversaries were significant-75th will be as well. The others are just marketing hype. Owners are starting to realize that now and I doubt any 65th anniversary model will be a big sales success unless it offers some exclusive performance not available on others.

Since we just had the 60th AE five years ago, I don't think they'll do anything for 65. It's just not an anniversary that pops, numerically speaking, imo.
My $0.02 is that the AE's and Collector Edition packages are generally not all that important. I had a '96 Collector Edition, just because I wanted a silver C4 LT4, not because I cared about the special edition. The wheels were nicer than the base model C4, but other than that it was all cosmetic, as is often the case with these packages. They just don't move my needle. Obviously others feel different, so more power to them. Re-sale-wise though, don't get your hopes up...
