Now that's pretty cool that two almost identical twins will be there at the same time. Did you go with the yellow calipers and black rims?
Black wheels is the only way to go on a yellow z06 I did however leave the red calipers for contrast. I also did the carbon black side mirrors, with the 2lz package. Did you do the Nav/PDR?

I went with the yellow calipers and kept going back and forth with the mirrors but went with the yellow instead. 2lt, black leather, Nav/pdr, kept the yellow top so you can see the stripes better running over her. I have the Borla X pipe here waiting for her w the stage 2 winglets and stage 2 front spoiler. Also going to add the B&B bullets after. Want that old muscle car sound.

Reason: Forgot to add

It's going to sound sweet! ya, kept my yellow top also. I'm kicking myself for not opting for the nav/pdr. I could care less about the factory nav (that's what Android Auto is for), its the pdr that I'm second guessing. I may copy the Borla at some point, but in Colorado, we need to watch emissions (damn tree huggers).
I hope I don't violate any copyright laws using these pics.
I will purchase these from Vettestripes when I pull the trigger. :-)
This is what I'm considering for my Admiral Blue GS, but without the fender hash marks. Just a dual, full length stripe in torch red with white pinstripes. We shall see....
Mythird, I like the red, white, and blue theme on the GS's. But, it has been done quite a bit. I like the idea of the full length torch red strip on the AB, and it will stand out from the usual. Can't wait to see your new baby. I am a bit jealous.

As far as the stripes and hash marks, I think it's a great option, but only really works in certain configurations. From a promotional standpoint, each hash/stripe selection should be a compatible standalone for at least 1/3 of the colors available for the C7.
That being said, if it looks cool enough to look at but not good enough to buy (if a purchase is in the plans), the geniuses behind the scenes need to rethink their marketing ploy.
After much consideration I've decided to go with my original plan and do the standard GS white stripe and red hash marks. Gotta go with your first instinct I always say. I plan to order the stripes in the next day or so and I have an installer already lined up. The same guy that did my window tint. He did a great job. I stole a picture from the NY Auto show.
I like what you guys are doing. It's great to see some personalization with stripes, hash marks, caliper colors, wheel colors, etc. Keeps things interesting.
So I went to a local paint shop to get an estimate on doing the stripes on the car. The white, full length center stripe and the hash marks on the fenders like the traditional Grand Sport. I can do them in vinyl and the cost would be around $500-550 including labor. The paint shop I went to quoted me $2,500....WTF? I could paint 3 entire cars for $2,500. What a joke....looks like it will be vinyl after all, if I decide to do it.
Paint is a whole lot better cuz it can be waxed and won't peel or stain. But if you're not keeping the car for several years, vinyl would be better to let the next person deal with.

I agree, but it's not 5 times better.....$2,500 is ridiculous....
I'd love to see 3 Corvettes painted for $2500. You get what you pay for. I would have probably guessed about $1000-1500 to do them, not surprised with a $2500 number if it is a pretty high end shop. Not sure what you were expecting it to cost though, you can of course get some other estimates.

I was expecting it to be in the $1,000 range. Guess I was wrong.
