My dealer, MacMulkin was nice enough to send along the "build sheets" for my new 2017 Admiral Blue GS that was delivered to me yesterday. When looking at them I noticed that they refer to the exterior color as "Opulent Blue" rather than "Admiral Blue". Interesting ... just thought I'd share.
How do you get those sheets? Should they have been included in my factory order from the World's largest Corvette dealer?
This was the very first time I've ever gotten them with any car that I bought, including two previous Corvettes. Tommy Jr. and his staff sent me everything with the car. Pretty cool guys, they know Corvette people dig stuff like that.

Interestingly, GM uses different names on different models for the same color. I have no idea why.

Who you ordered the car from has nothing to do with it. Sometimes the build sheets are left in the car by the plant workers, other times they're not. When they are, sometimes they're found during dealer prep and other times they're not.
BTW anyone have any ideas how to remove the masking tape cleanly? Tried to peel it off but the sheet started to tear. Sorry, a little off topic.
Not off at all ... I want mine off as well, but as you found, when I tried, it started to tear the paper too. I gave up for now and just let it be. If anyone knows how to do this, please enlighten us.

I worked at a GM dealership and the person that does the PDI will remove all the 'stuff' in the car left by the factory. Unless you request it from the salesperson to keep it. And it may or may not be there.
If you want to guarantee you get those sheets do the owners tour at the plant.

Not for sure, but you might try leaving the build sheet in the freezer over night. You can order your build sheet and window sticker, laminated or not, from the Corvette Museum.

In addition, the NCM offers reprints of build sheets at a nominal charge.
