Water filter

I don't care what kind of water you have, it will have dissolved solids, and that's what causes spots. How badly things spot when water dries depends upon the total dissolved solids (TDS), which are the total amount of mobile charged ions, including minerals, salts or metals dissolved in a given volume of water, expressed in units of mg per unit volume of water (mg/L), also referred to as parts per million (ppm). TDS is directly related to the purity of water.
My home's total TDS count is 161, which is pretty good for well water, and the water coming out of the CR Spotless is 0 until the resin is depleted. Once you reach a TDS count of 20, you'll start seeing water spots. With my count of 161, I can produce about 500 gallons of completely pure water until the next resin change.
I use it with a 1.2 gpm power washer, which means a lot of washes. We have 5 vehicles, including a 45 ft. motor coach, as well as a lot of windows in our home, so there is a lot of washing to do.
The bottom line is that I can use the CR Spotless unit, walk away without drying, and there will literally be zero water spots.
