Does anyone know how to remove the shift handle on a C7 Automatic. Have looked and everything is for the Manual shift. Need to get to the cup holder door.

Did you try twisting both directions? It may be like the chrome ring on the manual. It does twist but was not easy the first time. Most end up having to use channel locks.

Hold Handle .. depress button .. pull up really hard .. helps to be in Neutral. Like I said .. pull really hard ... it will pop off even though it feels like you are going it break it. Make sure you pop out the boot and trim first. Make sure you disconnect the wiring harness to the selector.
